My name is Lula Lumaj and I am a Toronto based illustrator, muralist, fine artist, and instructor.
My artwork is inspired by the things around me and the people in my life. I utilize a lot of different mediums into my art practice such as oils, acrylics, watercolor, ink, graphite, spray paint and exterior latex paint. I have been involved in various community-led projects, private and commercial mural commissions. My murals typically depict realistic, bright, bold and colorful narratives that go beyond aesthetic imagery.
The most impactful projects that I have been part of, have led me to mentor youth artists and that has been the most rewarding part of being an artist.
